Baked Parmesan Green Bean Fries - found on LaaLoosh.com
- 1lbs fresh green beans
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Step 1: Preheat oven (I used my toaster oven) to 425 degrees. Wash green beans.
Step 2: Cut and trim green beans.
Step 3: Spray cookie sheet with an olive oil mist or with a non-fat cooking spray.
Step 4: Measure out 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs, and 2 tsp garlic powder.
Step 5: Combine parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Stir.
Step 6: Place green beans on pan in an even layer. Lightly, spray olive oil mist or fat-free spray over green beans.
Step 7: Sprinkle mixture on green beans and place in oven. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until green beans are golden brown and start to crisp.
